'CalmRiverHouse' started off with an ambitious goal: to serve up true Neapolitan pizza in Rome. Established by the Rossi clan in 1985, our pizza shop began as a humble family venture with time-honored recipes passed down from ancestors.
The brains behind our establishment, Marco Rossi, became adept at crafting pizza following her extensive explorations in Italy, absorbing knowledge from renowned pizza chefs in Naples—pizza's place of origin. Once back in the UK, she endeavored to capture the essence of authentic Italian pizza, upholding ancestral techniques and sourcing only the premium components.
Starting as a quaint pizzeria with just 12 seats, we've risen to be a treasured community favorite, yet our adherence to excellence and originality remains steadfast. Today, we still employ traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and procure top-tier ingredients for our culinary creations.
